Hard disk broken? SSD not recognised? What now?

Do not try to experiment if you have no access to important data on your PC, MAC, RAID-system or laptop. If possible, you should switch off the computer. We can then help you with the next steps. Important: never use different mains adapters or other adapters, not even from other USB hard disks.
